In Our Local Community

Hour of Consuming Fire Miracle Ministries is preparing to run a Home for Youth to meet the needs of at-risk youth and families. The home will be committed to providing a sanctuary to help youth (ages 11-18) heal and cope with psychological and social traumatic experiences. Through the implementation of Sanctuary Model for Trauma Informed Organizations, the home will provides a safe and connected community for clients and staff to actively engage in treatment and programming that encourage healthy recovery, healing and growth for clients. To successful implement this noble vision with the love of God and to provide unconditional service to all pro poor in our community and the neighborhood around. The church will partner with other visionary churches whose believe that God can be found in these people.

Our Mission in these regard is Building hope and understanding through faith-based counseling and support services for youth, adults, couples, and families in our communities. The Hour of Consuming Fire Miracle Ministries Youth Ministry have overwhelmingly carry out Counseling in a non-denominational manner that provides family, marital, individual and group counseling, along with preventive, educational and advocacy services.

Hour of Consuming Fire Miracle Ministries doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight, they take time, patience, trust and consistency. So Youth Ministry leaders spend many hours with kids, where they are, as they are. We listen to their stories and learn what's important to them because we genuinely care about their joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks. We believe in the power of presence. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because their Youth Ministry leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. This is the first step of a lifetime journey; the choices they make today, based upon God's love for them, will impact future decisions … careers chosen, marriages formed and families raised. All ripples from the time when a Youth Ministry leader took time to reach out and enter their world.
